You read that title correctly. Chocolate waffles are here! These multi-grain and seed waffles will satisfy your chocolate cravings while still keeping your healthy goals moving forward. Top them with fresh fruit compote, sliced bananas and toasted walnuts like we do, and it is a breakfast made in heaven! Here's our home baker's recipe.
5 Ingredient Multi-Grain Chocolate Waffles
2 cups Panhandle Milling Multi-grain and Chia Pancake Mix
1/3 c baker's cocoa
1/2 tsp grated orange zest (optional)
1 1/4 cup milk
Directions: Combine all ingredients. Bake in a well oiled waffle iron. Serve warm with any sugar-free fruit topping of your choice. We mashed fresh strawberries, and some frozen raspberries topped with some toasted walnuts and banana.
